Golf 🤝 Queer and Trans People
Join us at the 5ir Golf in Fishtown on Sunday, March 23 to launch Open Fairways! Open Fairways is an LGBTQ+ golf initiative that celebrates queer and trans joy in golf. We create art. We educate. We advocate. We play! And we couldn’t think of a better way to kick off these celebrations than turning your Sunday round into a drag brunch.
We will have a performance from a local queen the leader of the Philly Drag Mafia, THEEEE Brittany Lynn, the simulators will be set up for a range of fun games (no experience necessary!) with prizes courtesy of Callaway Golf, goodies from Matchstick Golf, Barnaby’s, and The Number Thirty-Three. The fabulous Emily Joynton from Loop 306 Chainstitching will be stitching up a storm! Bring your own piece to get stitched, get something from Emily, or snag one of our Open Fairways Tour Towels! Food and drinks will be available! Local queer professional golf instructor Hal Clark will also be around to make sure you’re gripping your shaft right 🙃.

Your ticket price includes unlimited play on the Trackman Golf simulators, golf clubs, sandwich bar.
