DESCRIPTION:The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts celebrate Pride with free plaza events and a special one-night-only Orchestra performance hosted by Sapphira Cristál!  \nJoin The Philadelphia Orchestra and incoming Principal Guest Conductor Designate Marin Alsop for our third annual FREE Pride Concert! Fresh off her appearance on RuPaul’s Drag Race\, Philadelphia drag queen Sapphira Cristál will host this fabulous celebration of unity\, empowerment\, and the Philadelphia region’s LGBTQ+ community.  \nThe concert will feature music by LGBTQ+ composers and allies including works by Bernstein\, Copland\, and more. Joining in on the fun are the ANNA Crusis Feminist Choir\, the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus\, and Philadelphia Voices of Pride. \nEnjoy fun entertainment in the plaza\, including a drag storytime with Brittany Lynn and a performance showcase featuring local drag queens and kings. \nPride Pre-Concert Celebration (no tickets required)\n4:00 PM–7:00 PM  \nJoin us for pre-concert entertainment in Commonwealth Plaza!  \n4:00 PM: Drag storytime with Brittany Lynn \n5:00 PM: Drag performance showcase featuring Brittany Lynn\, LisaLisa\, Cyrus K. Tickets are required for entry into the Philadelphia Orchestra concert in Marian Anderson Hall. Ticket holders will be seated on a first-come\, first-served basis beginning approximately 45 minutes prior to the start of the performance. Entry to the concert is not guaranteed. Please plan to arrive early\, as you may need to wait in line.
