The Don : Brittany Lynn

Hey kids! Thanks for checking in with the family-MY FAMILY-Philly’s DRAG MAFIA… The “first family” of Philadelphia-for all your entertaining needs…Here’s a little bit about me…As Brittany Lynn:

I am the creator and founder of Philly’s Drag Mafia-celebrating 24 years of entertaining, and the City’s Miss Fancy Brigade – the first all LGBTQIA group to march and lead the city’s biggest parade every year on New Year’s Day! With over 20 years of hosting and producing events for venues all over the tristate area and for the city itself, I have been titled the “Hardest Working Drag Queen” by many of Philly’s gay and mainstream newspapers. Philadelphia Gay News has given me the honor of naming me “Best Drag Queen” 2010, 2011, 2014, and 2015, and I was once titled “Casinoville’s Favorite Drag Queen” by Atlantic City Weekly for my work at many of Atlantic City’s casinos and shows around the shore.

I am a musically trained singer and actor, having played “Dr. Frank-N-Furter” in the Philadelphia Tour of “The Rocky Horror Show”, “Alice the housekeeper” in the Philadelphia Production of the “Live Brady Bunch”, and Daphne in the tour of “Spooky Dog” based on tv’s Scooby Doo-all in drag of course.
On the small screen I have made several appearances on MTV for shows like TRL, “Real World Philadelphia”, and the “Snooki & Jwoww Show.”

My biggest media whore moment was being featured on Fox 29 to millions of viewers during Barbara’s Streisand’s Last Televised Concert as Babs herself.
I’m a very lucky gal, to be a queen that has the support of my city’s local government, and I have performed for political events honoring the past three Philadelphia Mayors and our last Governor-they even let this queen perform for the gala opening of Philadelphia’s Visitors Center!

Many celebrities have allowed me to open for them when they visit Philly- including Sandra Bernhard, Debbie Gibson, Taylor Dayne, Stacey Q, Rob Bass, Pretty Poison, Big Freedia, Kristine W., and Crystal Waters. In 2018 I was chosen to be the hostess for Capital Pride Weekend in DC, hosting all of their major events and their indoor/outdoor music festival at the DC Eagle.

I’ve been a hard working lady for the Philly community since day one, and Philly’s Mayor Jim Kenney awarded me with my own day-March 15 (check out the video on my Youtube channel)-and the City Council of Philadelphia has cited me for my efforts in breaking down barriers between our city’s diverse communities and bringing our LGBTQIA community to our mainstream constituents in both the Mummers Day New Year’s Day Parade and our 4th of July Parades-moments for which I am forever grateful!

One of the city’s best newspapers-Philadelphia Weekly-even featured as one of the “Top Faces of Philadelphia″ along with the mayor’s wife, and in 2015 I was awarded the DVLF Community Hero Award, with the most nominations in DVLF history from the numerous charities I closely work with all over Philly. In 2018 I was named “Best Community Builder” from Philadelphia Family Magazine for my “Drag Queen Story Time” program, which can be seen in schools, libraries, and museums around he tri-state area!

So take a look around our site-check out our history, the family photo album of my gal pals, and some of our shows and stunts on our Youtueb channel-and let us know if there is any service our family can provide for you and your venue… ”Let the family handle your business…”
